I'd guess it was staged or at the very least anticipated. Very few people with that type of power don't understand the basic need for training wheels out back.
He was also into it all the way until he flipped. Most guys can save that before going end over.

Then again, I've seen more and more guys with a lot more money than brains.

It is an actual event. Byron dragway in Illinois has wheelie contests usually the first weekend in October.

Look at the belly pan with sponsor info, its supposed to wheelstand and there are awards for most violent, longest, weirdest, etc.

Grabbed a little too much traction a few times with my '69 Z/28. Never got that high but it will scare the sheet out of you if you are not expecting it.

Broke a tie rod the very first one, made the mistake of letting off the gas. BIL who was riding with me pissed his pants :lolg:
