Wrong. The last one I went to was CI X, in '09. I was unemployed and broke, but I made the trip anyway, to hang out with my online friends.

My OT posting habits have seriously subsided over there. it's simply gotten too boring, over moderated, everyone seems scared to post anything humorous/sarcastic, and most of the people there have the driest sense of humor I've seen in many moons. There are a few people over there I'd still chat with from time to time, but most of the time the kind of threads that were funny in the past are so tame that they could be used for children's entertainment. It's truly is a sad sight to see.

Now, the heavy hitters have migrated here and it's a friggen blast!

Spot on Chad. Funny thing is that I'm in the same boat as Mike. Bought a lake house and now I spend Memorial weekend up there. Me and my buddy Bob (blown383c4) head up on Wednesday night and party for a couple of days before the wives come up Friday evening. This year on Thursday we're starting about noon and going to hit my local hangout in town in MI for lunch and a few beers and we're going to drink our way to the movie theater in Kalamazoo to see the Hangover 2 completely fecked up. After the movie we'll make our way to the local gentlemen's club and finally home. Kind of our own little CI. The only thing missing is a folding chair. Maybe I'll bring one and sit in it at the end of the pier in honor of the old CI memories...then I'll chuck it into the lake in honor of Phil.

I know they've ruined it because they want it to be their way or the highway. But, they're in charge and can do what they want good or mostly bad.
