My friends laugh when I break this one out...usually when you hear about somebody you know that keeps making the wrong decisions because they don't have any options financially.

I used to turn wrenches in the 90's for a living and I saw this every week. Like buying a used engine from the junkyard with no warranty to discover the head gasket was bad only to have to pay labor twice when a warrantied long block was only a few hundred more than the cost of the used crap engine.

or financing used cars at a high rate 'cause you can't save money.

I could go on and on.
