I can't say they were all bannings. There have been two kind of big waves that I recall where someone, or a couple someone's, got the hammer unfairly over there and left, taking many of their supporters with them or prompting people to call out the mods and get the hammer later.

All of a sudden posters will come out of the woodwork, then it all goes back to normal. I rode a wave in and stayed. It's overall nicer/easier to be here. Just less active.

I will not personally speak for anyone else, but I could give 2 chits about any person that rubs me the wrong way on the interweb. My life carries on the same regardless. Unless a tangible threat is made to me or those I love, screw em'.

What does peeve me off is people that lie or when favoritism is shown based on said lies by a mod that has an underlying agenda.

The barn by far is more laid back and fun, but as you said, traffic dies back when people are not in the "ban barn".
