well, that was fun.

had to climb on the roof to undo, fix, and put back in place the chimney cover. one of the brackets had fallen into the chimney, so had to rig up a string and magnet to get it back out of the chimney. very strong winds yesterday, up to 60mph, managed to pull it off. other two covers were ok, so i just checked the screw tension on them.

time to make a batch of thinset. have to raise the floor around the toilet.

Things never seem to break in good conditions.

26F this morning. a little too cold to be cutting tiles and mixing up thinset. so i'll run a few errands later this morning, then do the tile work after lunch when it's a bit warmer.

Got the sno-blower running for the incoming nasty weather we expect.

Organized the shed so it's handy, filled the tires, greased up the shafts. Started getting cold so I came in for , and then a small I'm thinking, since I've got none in the last couple of days. I got my flu shot and I think that upset my chemical acid levels to give me gout symptoms.....

May have sold some more stuff....they're letting me know.

Check out the progress the kid is making on my old 90 4x4.......holy cow, new fenders, rockers, cab corners, box, exhaust, wheels/tires.....all done in a few weeks, I remember when I had that kind of energy!

alright , hello people i have been checking out a bike for over 6 months started at 8 k now i have him down to 4900$ i said i wont budge until 4500$ the bike in excellent condition is 4750$ why do people think they can get more than their stuff is worth?
