The question has been posed to me numerous times..."If presented with the opportunity to have a relationship with a person of a different race (not nationality or religion, etc), would I go for it"...

The answer is, I am not at all opposed to a freindship, or a close bond, however I have no desire to attempt procreation with them...Call it racism, call it discrimination, frankly they arent missing out on mu ch and im probably doing them a favor.

I don't know about the dog stuff Spence, but the people thing was written in 1978, and sounds like it has more to do with acceptance from society than genetic health issues. Since 1978 it is more accepted in society and those issues would be nil today.

My understanding is that the dog stuff (especially the purebred stuff) results from inbreeding. So the better analogy would be the inbreeding of dogs to Red (inbreeding might be the cause of his "issues") and why he should never be allowed to procreate - but his opinions will most likely keep that from happening.

They may not be missing out on much, but you could be. Say you met a girl on the phone somehow. You talk to her for hours on end for months. She is perfect for you. She loves you for you. You have fallen in love with her based on the conversations alone. Then you finally see her and she is black, even light skinned and beautiful.

Would you throw away what would possibly be the most wonderful thing that could happen to any guy because she isn't your race?

I, too, am not sexually attracted to women of other races. The difference between you and me is I don't mind that others are.
