Default Godzilla vs. Kong
I could NOT WAIT to watch this movie.

It came out today on HBO Max.

I am very disappointed. Too much non-existent future tech. Maybe a popcorn movie if it's free, but what a pile of crap.

I remember seeing the original back in the 70's as they played it at the matinee at the local theater. At 5 or 6 years old, it scared the shit out of me.

Some CGI is great, other is over the top, and the final 30 minutes is not horrible. Based on the trailers, I expected so much more. All of the stuff I didn't like was NEVER in the trailer. Now I know why.

It seems remake are never near as good as the oringinal.

It's a Godzilla vs King Kong movie... what were you expecting Academy Award content?

A couple of friends saw it, loved it. Said it was entertaining for a couple of hours.

Well, the original was a couple of guys in rubber suits tearing up extremely obvious paper mache cities.

In this case, CGI rules. There is an animated Godzilla series on Netflix that is quite entertaining.

Godzilla, King of the Monsters - Raymond Burr narrating and standing around looking pensive..

King Kong - the original with Fay Wray. Quite a babe in 1933

Mothra vs. Godzilla - Complete with the miniature girl twins singing

The don't make 'em like they used to.
