Actually I have no problem paying 35% if the same people who bitch about the middle and lower class not paying into the System as much as the top 2% who pay nothing also.

In other words ... is everyone paying and we're actually get the services we pay ... than I have no problem with getting what I pay for.

But then we know that's not true.

I'm having a hard time following your post.

But, at 35% yes, that means some people won't pay into the system, but there's an unproductive part of every population, not much you can do about that...not feeding/ caring for them is a very reasonable option.

What I'm saying is, if it's 35% for everyone, then that means Corporations like GE has to pay 35%, just like everyone else. Correct?

Well, our average now is 23.85% even including Scissor's outlier of 100%.

If we take out the low and high outliers of 5% and 100%, we get 18.64%

So I guess 20% really is the clear winner here.
