It's looking like the bad ones are too bad and the good ones are not capable!

What's next?

Here's the deal. Enough of all the navel gazing. There are two possible outcomes here.

1. Hillary wins.

2. Trump wins.

That's it. Now, under option 1, Hillary will appoint 3, perhaps 4 Supreme Court Judges. They will be young, radical as she can get away with, and will tilt the court for the rest of all our lifetimes so far left that we may as just assign it as a branch of the Democrat party. Also with Hillary in office amnesty will be passed in some form or another. Trump's defeat will be easily spun as a referendum on amnesty. Somewhere between 11 and 30 million new voters will be minted practically overnight. And our borders will still be wide open. It will be impossible for anyone other than a Democrat to win a national election for probably 30 years, and after that any non-Democrat that gets elected will probably make today's Democrats seem like Reagan. The 1st and 2nd amendments will be so far gone so fast it will make your head spin. This isn't some sort of wild conspiracy theory, this is what will happen based on very widely available factual information.

Under option 2, Trump wins. Trump will appoint 3, perhaps 4 Supreme Court justices. They will not be radical leftists. At worst, one or two could be the type that occasionally sides with the left. The only chance to get one like Scalia is if Trump appoints him and not Hillary. Trump isn't going to sign an amnesty bill that gives illegals citizenship. Whatever his exact plan is, it will be light-years better than anything we get from Hillary. It will definitely be better than what anyone else running in the GOP primary would have gave us. So there's that. The border will be much tighter, the 1st and 2nd amendments will probably be, if anything, beefed up, and maybe we'll get something done about tilting our economy away from the globalists and more towards Main Street.

This is it folks. You can hem and haw and say that you can't with good conscious vote for Trump because he's literally Hitler in your eyes. OK, then you are indeed saying that you are fine with Hillary because that's what you will have and you'll never get your guy elected president because it will be actually impossible.

Yep, Cowboy summed it up pretty well. I'll add the big reason why I think many are for Trump and have been since the beginning of the debates is due to being tired of the same ole dance. The dance where the partners change but the dance, more or less, remains the same. The dance is the back room deals being made no matter whether a D or an R follows the name and everyone smiles. Am I wrong? I have no proof either way but the consistent shit coming from DC makes me think I am.

IMO, a Trump presidency won't look anything like what his campaign promises. ...or what his faithful believe. His disconnected waffling bullshit is coming through already. He will have zero support....for anything....and likely accomplish nothing close to what he's promising.

...or he'll be the greatest president ever.

...or he'll be dead in six months.

I've heard this from a lot of the people who don't like him. IMO they have nothing to base this on other than their own bias. Why wouldn't he build a wall and renegotiate trade policies? It's not like he needs new laws to do it. He's not a politician so he's very unlikely to have a secret agenda. He's not beholden to big money backers. I really think people that think he'll bail on his campaign promises do so because they don't like him and they think it will make his supporters give pause (which, BTW, isn't happening...)

For years and years all we've heard is that career politicians make the worse leaders; should be term limits on any political office (no more than "xx" years total... accumulative); need someone that understands business, someone from the private sector - that had to make a payroll; not from a family of career politicians.... blah - blah - blah.

For the first time in a l-o-n-g time, we have a Presidential candidate that is what the mass had said they always wanted.

Who do they think this "non career politician" nominee would end up being, the town librarian who seems to have a level head about them??? It would have to be a nationally known figure, like Trump, Bill Gates, Ross Perot...

Out of the three candidates (Democ, Rep, 3rd party)... only one is not coming into the race already being a politician. Just a couple of years ago, whoever this brave soul would end up being... the whiners were willing to conduct parades for the person - if this person just had the nads to step forward... and possess the drive to attempt a run at it.

Yes. And a lot of the "signs" people who aren't currently inclined to vote for Trump see as being clear indicators that he's a buffoonish huckster can be as easily explained as him being the first non-politician in my lifetime to get the nomination of a major party. He's in unknown territory not only to voters but himself. The fact that he's had to retool his campaign along the way, on the fly, looks really bad to these people but to me it looks like someone who can correct their course on the fly, when mistakes are made they try to mitigate those mistakes instead of doubling down on them.

At any rate, the NeverTrump people are just establishment supporting stooges and are incredibly deluded if they think a Trump defeat in 2016 gets them their guy in 2020 or 2024. It's just shocking how horrible their logic is, which leads me to believe they really don't view what Hillary is going to do in a very bad light at all. Almost like they are just fine with it.

I like folks who dgaf. Those who make things happen no matter what shitty situation they end up. Those who see the way things have always been, see it's messed up, and throw a wrench in the middle. That's what I see in Trump. Is he perfect? Hell no. Just like everyone else, he's got things he could do better. So, here we are. Ole Trump spoutin' off about changing things. Things that have been messed up for a while. Will he change things? Who knows. But at least he's saying he'll give it a whirl.

Look, the man chose Joan Rivers over Annie Duke. He clearly doesn't have the judgement to be president.

Yeah, but he canned Gary Busey instead of Meatloaf...so clearly he's got the chops to be Prez...

Ok, I get it. You're gonna vote/write in Gary Johnson. That's absolutely your choice.

I must say Trump's appearance right now with Mexican President Neito is pretty amazing. It's streaming live right now.

Watch! Trump is going to offer Mexico help in getting their southern border sealed off.

Oh, and it's the 17th news conference Trump has done since Hillary decided to just, IDK, nap? Whatever she does.

Trump's Five Goals

1. End illegal immigration.

2. Secure border as a sovereign right for not just the U.S. but Mexico too. Cooperate to stop drug trafficking and ensure safety.

3. Dismantle drug cartels and transfer of illicit drugs, weapons and cash flow.

4. Improve NAFTA. Update it after 22 long years. Keep industry in the hemisphere rather than foreign competition. Better pay. Work together to improve mutual prosperity.

5. Keep manufacturing wealth in our hemisphere. We don't want jobs going overseas, being outsourced.

This news conference is a big f'ing deal, as Joe Biden would put it.

Edit: Fixed the Mexican President's name...
