Saw the Stealth Today.

Most of the F117s were destroyed. Only a few remain, in storage as mentioned earlier.

I saw one take off from Dobbins AFRB (Marietta, GA.) with a F-16 chase several yrs. ago. The end of the runway there is pretty close to a major 4-lane road. Several bizs. with parking lots you can plane watch from. The thing that surprised was how much larger the stealth plane was to the F-16. It might have been the F-22 doing flight test from Lockheed. They make them now to be a bomber/fighter combo. Maybe that is why it was so much larger over the dedicated fighter role of the F-16?

The air show at Dobbins is great to watch. If you enjoy hearing the jets up close, you can't beat being on base watching it from the flight line. If you despise crowds and having to wait and wait for their transport buses, you are better served posting up at a biz off of South Atlanta Rd, or Cobb Pkwy. I'm sure that there are better viewing points that keep you away from the main watching areas that will offer you as good of a show...but I haven't found them. Maybe off of S. Cobb Dr/Austell Rd?
