what TIME FRAME did this occur?? CRA seemed like a decent idea at first....

but like typical .gov programs, it turns into a nitemare, like the EPA as a glaring example....

Sure. Gingrich left office in early 1999 and went into private business and made money. He was not in office when he got that line of credit from Tiffany's. Did he do crooked stuff in those businesses? Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. At least if Gingrich somehow does get the Republican nomination, he will already be well vetted.

I would really love to see that, unfortunately I give Obama and his $1Billion dollar war chest enough credit to assume we'd never see a fair and open debate. If there was a debate it'd be hosted by a communist tv network, and I'd be willing to bet Obamas speech writer would see all the questions before hand.
