Default Out And About Today
Met an old high school/Air Force buddy today in Ocean City, MD for lunch. We both live an hour away from OC, him to the south, me to the north.
He's been in and out of Corvettes for years, said this new Long Beach Red Grand Sport may be his last.

On the way home, took some shots at the WWII era watchtowers that are still standing off the Delaware seashore.

I remember when I was a kid Ocean City was a ghost town at this time of year. Probably not that way now, I assume.

I remember them towers in Maryland yet, not so far north of OC, and there was a motel/hotel? owned by a Bobby--something, a buddy of LBJ's....it/he was involved in some scandal....and two high rise buildings...Condos? were built on either side of it, they actually had UNDERGROUND PARKING!!!!! and the funny thing was that of course the storms eroded the beaches to the point the underground parking flooded right up to the sand level.....

I would think it's a miracle they would be still there......I talking near 50 years ago by now......Old man RUST on the steel beams.....

Those towers are cool to look at I've been up in the Cape Henlopen one, what a view! While at Cape Henlopen park, I also spotted a piebald deer foraging

The Lewes/Rehoboth/Bethany Beach area is one of my favorite areas to cruise to and visit...this was Cosmo's last beach trip celebrating his birthday...

How far north of this area do you live?
