Due to the cold and rain, we still haven't planted anything Things are looking like spring might finally be here - and regardless, if we are going to even try to grow anything this year, we have to plant this weekend. Another sucky gray and wet spring this year....

The rain kept me from planting sooner. Farmers are just getting into the fields around here.

I like so few veggies that it would be a complete waste for me to even bother.

Never liked working in the yard at all, even growing up. Hated it then, hate it now.

Easy enough to fix, but you need to do it soon because the corn stalk will curve trying to right itself. Just raise the corn up and plant a firm foot on the roots on the opposite side it was leaning. Does having a curve in the stalk hurt anything? I dunno.

Edit: You need to plow that corn to get rid of the grass and weeds. At least use some Round-Up to kill them. Then fertilize and water.

You should have seen it before I used the weedeater and then yanked a lot of weeds and grass out.

We finally got ours in a few weeks back. Due to the late start we really cut back from previous years, but at least we were able to find some fairly mature starts so hopefully that will help.....
