Whoever wrote this Mention plug-in should have their Software Engineering license revoked. There is no indication in the post preview that the Mention tag is actually working; it only inserts the user number after you hit Submit. So much for WYSIWYG.

There was a discussion on CForum about a year ago where a dumba$$ couldn't understand that you can setup a google alert to ping you when anything you want to set it for is mentioned on a site, e.g. the big 3 vendors can set it up to ping them if anyone mentions their dealership. He was so arrogant about it not being able to be done and that I was an idiot for even suggesting it, that i refused to explain to him how it works.

It's ridiculous when people's own ignorance prohibits them from even accepting a concept outside of their knowledge. He was a friggin troglodyte, I wish I could find the thread.
