I rode until I was 30. Not "pro" good but good enough to have fun and also have some spectacular crashes. Didn't break any bones but really abused my body. Hillclimbs were fun but unpredictable.

Neighbor crashed real hard hitting a groundhog. He thought it would be fun to run it over until it washed out the front wheel

When I was 13, I bought a new KX80.
I loved going out on that thing.

For a long time now, I wanted to buy an off-road motorcycle to have some fun.

The problem is I have no friends that I can safely go trail riding with.
Are there local clubs that get together to go out riding?

Back in the late 70s and 80s, I used to be able to ride from close to the Lansdale exit of the PA Turnpike over to Spring Mount Ski area "safely". All fields and only a couple short hops on the roads if the creeks were running high.

Now it's so built up, there is no way to do it anymore.

Lots of places one used to be able to ride are either built up or closed due to sue happy idiots.

Lots of places in the Pine Barrens in NJ used to be rideable too.

Seems to be Philly people here.
Back in the day we rode under the Tacony bridge in Jersey and also I think it was on RT 70 in the pine Barrens.

There was always a ton of people back there with all kinds of trucks and bikes.

im very jealous of that. I keep thinking I wouldn't mind jumping on an endure and cruising some trails, but not sure if my back could handle it these days after a really bad accident where I was slammed from behind by a truck.

I grew up outside of Harleysville , about 2 miles from the Lansdale exit of the PA NE extension of the Turnpike.

Back in the day, it was rural. Not even close anymore

Try it out. I have pretty limited mobility in my left arm and shoulder due to a street bike accident in 2001.
