The era of big screens has now become a part of international history. All movies will be available on Amazon, Vudu, or PPV within 120 days after release. It has to be an exceptional movie for me to go and spend money at a movie theatre.

We typically only see about 1 movie in the theaters per year. For us tonight, it's more of a date night and something other than dinner out. Given my mobility issues caused by my hip, we rarely do a 2nd thing on date night. I'd rather watch the Blue Angels movie on IMAX, than watch this movie in the theater, but it is definitely a movie I want to watch. I've been told that even Datawiz will require a 2nd mortgage to afford the popcorn.

I haven't been to a theater in many years. I bought a projector and screen years ago and doubt I'll ever go to an actual theater again.

I love seeing a film on the big screen but most people suck and disrupt the enjoyment of seeing it that way.

Their own employees tried to deplatform Dave Chappelle for his supposedly "anti-trans" content, and Netflix flipped the bird to their own employees. Netflix brass said that if employees couldn't handle content on the service that did not agree with their personal views, they would probably be happier working somewhere else.

That took balls IMO, and they are the only "entertainment source" that I have seen lately to do anything like that.

Sorry, can't give a review of the movie, except that the first 20 minutes were slow. My hip disability has made it impossible to sit in a movie theater, let alone an airline (maybe can still do in 1st class), but my pain level was 9.75, and all I did was put my head in my hand and didn't watch the movie. We left after 30 mins. Nice waste of money....dinner was descent.

One thing I did not like is the centerline politics. The fact that Texas and California secede from the nation together like they are friends? Are you fucking kidding me?

That's the part I couldn't get over when I read about this movie. Now, Cali on one side, and TEXAS on the other - THAT would be way more interesting and realistic.

Before that it was Dune. I have a projector and all that and the people at theaters are getting worse.

We saw Dune 2 at an Imax and it was a ghost town. We bought tickets online but you didn't need them. We walked in, they don't take, nor check, tickets anymore. I walked around asking who we gave the tickets do and they didn't care, just said go in.
