I don't think your party affiliation had anything to do with why you were banned, but all of your threads are still posted at DC for all to view and come to their own conclusion. That's the thing about the Interweb. Once you stick it out there, it may end up being out there forever.

I love that picture, but I don't understand what it has to do with you getting banned. I will sit down and have a drink with Ponch any day, anywhere and the same goes for you. I never understood politics well enough to know what all the hubbub was. If I could stay awake long enough to read all the way through one of your threads, I still couldn't tell you which side of politics you resided.

It just doesn't remotely interest me enough.

I don't have a clue. I really never visited that section much because it was always a crazy read, nothing made sense to me and once you saw one thread, you had seen them all. Like I said, politics put me to sle....

I see .. well, I've received about 20 emails from members (all non-posting lurkers) who have objected to my dismissal ... mainly concurring with what I've said all along ... 'everyone likes to hear my **** like this' ... with the attendant notion it's always fun when Ponch is used as punching bag ...

You remember the old commercial, "It's not smart to fool with mother nature?" Well I would think that commercial would apply to mods too. I mean seriously, once you've been warned, it's kinda like slitting your own throat wouldn't you say? It's not like any of these boards are public domain. They are all privately owned and you are subject to any rules put in place by those who govern it. That means that you are limited in what you can get away with.
