Nitto's NT05R's
OK I didnt see a tire section anywhere so I am going to post it here. Does anyone have these tires on their car or know someone running them? I am thinking about going with them when I replace my tires in a few weeks.
What say the Vette Barn?

I have not run these, however I run a set of NT-01 on the rear and they are stiff and sticky, the NT-05s will not be quite as sticky and better in the rain than the NT-01s, why I have two sets of rears

Wow, looking at the tire design I would have thought the NT05 would be the stickier tire. Maybe I need to look at the 01 instead. I run my drag pack on the street when I go cruising or just want extra stick as long as I am not doing highway driving. I run the popular 555/555r setup now and just looking for something different.

Nitto is supposed to be coming out this spring/summer with a NT-05 drag radial, I am waiting and think I may get a set for and try them out

After doing some reading I am going to go with the NT01 for now. I need tires pretty soon and doubt I can wait till the new NT05s come out. Do you run something like the 555 on the front or do you run the 01's on all four wheels?
