Stang stalker
Turned nicer this evening, so I decided to take the vette for a run. It hasn't been out since Monday.
Took the backroads to Williamsport to warm it up. As I left out of town, a newish Stang GT fell in on my arse. Didn't think nothing of it, as he kept back and wasn't playin stupid. I got on I-81 for about 5 miles, and he's still on my 6. So I took him for a triple digit run. He kept up pretty good. I got off I-81, he gets off too. I'm starting to get ticked at this point. So I take the back roads back to Hagstown to see if he follows. Dam if he don't! Let's see how he likes twisties. Lost him somewhere about halfway back to town. When I came to the stoplight at the end of Williamsport Pike, I turned into Sheetz to get a coffee. As I was coming out, SHE was just pulling into the parking lot. I had given Kim a couple golf lessons this summer. She said she was on her way to get cigs, when she saw me coming out of my neighborhood and decided to follow along. I asked her if she was stalking me, she just kinda giggled. She went in got her smokes, and a cup of coffee. We stood there and talked golf for about half an hour, til her hubby called wanting to know if she got lost. I grabbed her cell and gave him a blast for letting her buy a Stang! He laughed and said, "Her money, her car, not mine." He has a '79 C3 that is mint.

I had a similar thing happen to me, she was in a BMW and we were racing side by side on the winding roads here in the Oakland hills.
Next time you see her you should put one of these on. |

Nice! About a year ago I noticed a Porsche weaving in and out of traffic obviously trying to catch up to me. I let him catch up and without even looking over dropped it into 3rd and motored away very quickly.
When I got off Rte 66 at the light on at the top of the ramp, the Porsche pulled up next to me and put down the heavily tinted window. It was my bud Robert - RUNUTZZZZZ - in a friends car. He politely asked me to stop picking on the little Porsche... |
