I got myself a stool with wheels on it and wheeled all over the main floor of the house. I cooked and everything. Even !!! It was actually a desk chair with no back on it......very comfy.

oh boy!!! did you have another mishap while taking your medicine??
crutches are hard enough to use stone cold sober...I don't want to even entertain the idea of using them while intoxicated

I remember wobbling a few times, that was enough to scare the crap out of me, and went to a seated position.

Heather,

How long do you have to wear the "fashion boot"?
Torn ligaments....ouch!
I was under the impression it was just a bad sprain...so sorry to hear its a ligament issue.

Get a cabana boy for sure!

Any books you wanted to read? May help pass the time.

2 weeks minimum, 6 max...I go back to the doc on July 3...
he said the ankle was not broken and perfectly aligned, so no "pins" were necessary as far as the ligaments are concerned, he used the word "shredded"

I sure did do it "right"

I'm going to take over the kiddo's kindle for a bit, I think....

Well, if you're going to something, do it right...but necessarily when it comes to something like this. Well that's good news; no pins being needed. Has the Dr. mentioned or hinted to surgery? I hope you won't need surgery.

Yes, invoke the parental powers and acquire the kindle
Good thing your daughters are there to help you out.

When my mom broke her knee, she had a wheelchair, so I was able to pack it up and take her places, granted the stable was on the tough side but that's where she wanted to go

Know anyone that has a wheelchair? It would be easier for you to go shopping with. Maybe your friends or daughters can take you to a museum or the boardwalk or to a mall, just to get out of the house for a while.
