Any Harley Fans Out THere?
I dropped by the local Harley Shop Saturday just looking around. They had some kind of special day going on and the place was full of bikes and bikers
I have always liked Harley's but never really paid much attention to the different models. The V-Rods are intense but I think I like the Rocker C's. What do the Harley guys say about the Soft Tail Rockers? Last edited by YorkL8apex; 05-24-2010 at 7:28pm. |

I owned a crotch rocket and if I was to ever buy more it would be a Honda goldwing and then a Harley to chopper around on.

I have always loved ridding motocross but quit because its a young mans sport all of my neighbors have Harley's and have tried to talk me into it but I haven't given in yet if I got one it would have to be a V-Rod.

You've seen my V-Rod, well old V-Rod. Sold it last month.
When I bought the V-Rod, I was actually looking at the Rocker. I liked the front half a lot but I hate the gap above the rear fender. And that little ***** pad that unfolds from under the seat can't hold much. Diane would never put her ass on that thing, but I guess it doesn't matter because she only rode on the last bike once. I've now lost the Harley desire and like vettes have moved on to something else. Boats are a lot of fun... but expensive like vettes. I wish I could get a bigger one, but I'll stick with what I have now. Here she is 10 minutes before she left for good. |

That is a very sweet bike.
I personally have never been in to bikes but the majority of my friends back in MI are all "Harley guys" and a few belong to "clubs". They were always trying to get me to get a Harley but I like 4 wheels and if some idiot "doesn't see me" I'd rather be inside a car when it happens.

We can't all be like Lakin and have two or three Vettes, boats, and Harley's. Uploaded with ImageShack.us |

MOST Harleys are gorgeous bikes (like some Vette owners, there are a few out there that ruin a good thing). I have also come to start drooling over BMW bikes lately.

I call the Rocker FrankenDeuce. They scrapped the Deuce and brought the Rocker out using the Deuce's gas tank. The Deuce frame was used as the standard softail frame when they came out with the wide rear tire on softail models.
I've got a 2001 Deuce in the garage along with a 2003 100th anniversary FLHTC. The bagger was my "car" for awhile. Cars have always been an "extra" in my life where as bikes are... or were my normal transportation. John |
