Default Been a Helluva Week.....

Stored the Vette today.

Oil Change Wednesday, washed it today, over-inflated the tires a bit then took it to my rented garage and threw a cover over it.

Got new Brakes for the SRT 392 Winter Beater on Thursday and that was a complete Ka****ery in and of itself. The front rotors I purchased for it were ****ed so I had to buy a second pair for the front, which cost me $3k on top of the $3k I paid already for all 4 rotors and pads. Just a huge kick in the nuts.

Dunno how you live where you have to store the Vette for several months. ICNLT.

Drove around the island today with the top down on mine.

Good for you. Serious. But where you live I would die in the summer.

I can barely handle summers here.

Of course. Why would you assume there isn't one?

LOL.

I have the Corvette battery tender that plugs into the doohickey that looks like a cigarette lighter holder in the cargo area.

Worked perfect last two winters; Car fired right up in the spring.

From dealer $1,370 each plus 13% tax.

Which is why I bought the first set from the US I got all 4 rotors and pads for $USD 2k. Which after freight and F/X was about $3k Canadian.

Been an expensive year for me for cars.....

I don't understand...a damn rotor is a rotor, think it's for a jet aircraft and uncle Sam paying the tab on it......I went to Rock Auto online, and looked up a rotor for a 2018 vette, turbo, etc.......max price from GM about 1300 bux.....each, then you go to Raybestos and see the same thing for about 60 bux.....in many versions.....some as cheap as 35 bux......it's a damn rotor for Christsakes, same shit as on my C3, so it's maybe 3" larger diameter, so what.....they make it from unobtanium???

Negative. First year I did. Last year I did not.

It's got nearly a full tank of 94 Octane fuel. I'm sure it will be fine.
