Nice truck!

I get about 10mpg with my '74/350/350. The biggest problem is no overdrive. Gear Benders is an optional OD for it and you should check the rear end ratio. I think some trans. shops may be able to add another gear to the pack as another option...but, all this is in the thousands $

Way overchicked. I had a friend who had one of those. 400 small block, full time 4x4. He got 9 mpg pretty consistently. If it's not a driver though, who cares.
