I married into a family that is mixed race Asian/White, with the older Asian folks being first generation immigrants, so yes, I use chopsticks pretty regularly. If some folks think it's "snooty", I really don't give a shit.

basic life skill to learn. last time i ate at a Chinese food restaurant, I used the provided chop sticks and enjoyed my meal. clean plate club, never touched a fork, spoon, or knife. that was many years ago, but I'm certain i could figure it out again in short order if needed.
