BP is no laughing matter and is serious. My brother who is 64, found himself on the ground with gash on his head. He had passed out and did not know it. When he called me, I asked if he had either low or high BP. When to the doc and he had high BP. When on meds that day.

I've been on BP meds for 15 or 20 years. Most of it due to having a stressful job. It's a lot better now since I've been retired now for over a year.

All about the Benjamin's... Can't think of anyone I know who doesn't have this problem.. But ED pills are covered and getting sex change probably covered.

We've already tried that route and until we got an answer, he was giving 6 weeks worth of samples at a time. Unfortunately, the samples ran out and he stopped prescribing that stuff because nobody's insurance would cover it from what I understood....even though it worked great with very little side effects.

Anyway, I am cancelling my reservations at the beach for July 4th. Just don't think I'm going to be able to make it and don't want to risk anything whether I'm cleared to go or not because I know I'll end up with new meds or an adjustment to get used to.

Carvedilol did almost nothing for me, but now I'm on a great combination:
Labetalol 2x per day and Losartan and HCTZ combination pill 1x.

My new numbers are pretty consistent around 125/78 or so.
