That's a lot of snow. How much did you get up there?

Still waiting to hear from my parents in the mountains in VA to see how much they got. They did not answer the phone this morning. Thinking they stay in town near where mom works nights as a CNA. Hope they are ok!

So far we got 12" to 14" of snow.

I looked out on the deck and decided to get some pics. The door stopped and I had to push harder to get it to move

The mighty vintage 1968 Cub Cadet 125 with the4 QA42 snow thrower did a great job on clearing snow. Here's one pass down the driveway




After I was done with my driveway, I went over to the next door neighbor's house. Rudy is mid 80's and I did his driveway.

About the time I was done, his son pulled in. I told him I was just being a good neighbor and he could do the walks with the walk behind snow blower. He thanked me.

I did the end of the driveway for my other next door neighbor too. Their driveway is really short but they shovel.

It's a single stage snow thrower so running the engine at WOT is extremely important. The engine is designed to run at 3600 rpm and the spinning auger is what throws the snow.

I'm off tomorrow. Not often I get a Saturday off. Of course it's supposed to snow today/night and try to get me snowbound. Just like my last Saturday off. That day we had drifting that put a foot of snow on the drive.
