I get some absolutely amazing emails... I should start a scrapbook. I work with a large multi-national corporation so I am lucky enough to get everything from the big corporate mofos to the guys on the plant floor. The ones from Asia are especially entertaining.



I got 1 today that is actually automatically generated by 1 of our inventory systems but includes user entered information. Long story short, 1 of our plant supervisors rejected almost $50k worth of "defective" parts back to a supplier.

Reason for reject (copied and pasted verbatim): new oporator cant make themwork. old oporator ok. parts probabl not 2 bad


... keep in mind this is a 20 year (union) worker who is not only in charge of the entire area where these parts are used, but is also in charge OF TRAINING.

My subsequent phone discussion with this f**ktard was fairly amusing. "So just to clarify... you want me to charge a company $50k for parts that don't work solely because your operator doesn't know what the f**k they're doing. Do I have that right?"

I tell ya, MS Lync instant message system, is my new hell. People I have never heard of asking me to give them information they dont need or do things for them that should be handled by someone else. Fortunately I am really good at saying 'No'!
