Default Nitrous question

If you don't have a bottle opener is it ok to drive around with the bottle open? Does this put any stress on the noids or anything like that? If it's not ok, how long is ok?

You will be fine driving around with the bottle open. You wouldn't want a time where you wanted/needed to use it and can't because the bottle was closed and the line not purged.

What I did was turn on the heater, open the bottle, purge, drive. Once back at the house I'd close the bottle, turn off the heater, and purge the juice out of the line so the pressure would not be on the noids unnecessarily. I did have an opener and everything at my finger tips with a switch in the ashtray though.

If you decide to go the juice route, go NX. They will rebuild the noids for you for free. All you do is pay shipping both ways. I loved this because it made me feel that the setup was somewhat safer knowing the noids were freshened up once a year.

Were you spraying your vette or what car did you have it on?

I sprayed a 2000 Camaro Z28 I had before I bought the vette with a 150 shot.

I attempted to spray the vette, but to make a long story short, I had install/equipment issues so it never panned out.

It's crossed my mind to try again, but not sure if I want to deal with the aggravation.
