My guess is the cancellation of the Safari, and lots of kids out of school, has allowed people to travel here. All hotels are full. All RV lots are full. The parking lots along the highway north of town are full. It's impossible to get into a restaurant unless you call ahead and they take reservations. Dunno if that will change in the next few weeks, but I'm doubting it.

The weather's nice though, so there's that.

The wife wants to retire there. I'm not sure I can deal with living in another tourist town. BTDT.

we went through the same thing a month or so again. 19 year old cat. Quit eating, couldn't see, yakked up water.

But that ****ing cat never missed the cat box or went pewp anywhere else but where she was trained to so long ago.

Mad props to that kitteh! Wife had her cremated instead of our normal "toss in trash" SOP we follow after cat croakage. That was one good cat!

Sorry about your loss Dudeheim

Retire in Moab? Oh HELL no! Spend an entire summer here and she'll change her mind. If she likes this kind of country take her to Cedar City or St. George; like Moab used to be.

Better stick with it then. You do not want her to take up drinking cause you are home all the time.

The wife just brought home the paraphernalia and is doing it now.
She does this for a living, but she's crying like a baby.
