She is a good sport and was ok with me pulling off to the side of the road to take that shot.

This is a 1902 Challenge 5 hp hit and miss engine. This was purchased in December of 1902 and has been in this engine shed in the same spot ever since.

The business that sold and installed it is still in business. It's now a cadillac / honda dealer ( J.L. Freed in Lansdale PA )

Clouds and rain for several days. Finally a break today. Melted into couch watching TV and noticed a red glow through the windows. Just a cell phone shot but the best sunset I've seen here all year. Should have grabbed the real camera but...

Sometimes the best camera for the job is the one you have with you. Which is why I really want that new iPhone.

Default M31 Andromeda Galaxy

Andromeda's field of view is ~3 degrees. The full moon or sun is about .5 degrees. Andromeda is HUGE.

This image is a merging of ~100 4 minute shots with lots of processing applied. There are no added colors though the colors are enhanced with saturation. If you look through a telescope or binoculars you won't see the color but remember, this is over 6.5 hours of exposure. I've posted some crappy photos of it before but this one is not horrible. It has some artifacts that are visible when zooming in but not unhappy with the result. I'll spare you additional details but answer questions if there are any.
