My wife is....a wild live lover.......
So we went out to the downhill side of the house to pull some vines off the house....and outta the ground.....BUT in the trip my wife noticed some pain the the front garden, an wounded tree rat.....all torn up by some predator,....probably a bird......so off to the wild animule doc close by.....
a 200 buck tab to try saving a squirrel ......

One of the funniest things I ever saw hunting was a squirrel my dog tried to retrieve. It wasn't quite dead and when she picked it up the thing bit into her lip. That wasn't the funny part though. The funny part was her howling and wagging her head back and forth trying to make it let go while the squirrel flopped from one side to the other pounding her in the head. Looked like a cartoon

I was grilling on Tuesday night, when I heard a THUMP in the back yard. A squirrel had fallen from 50+ feet up. After a while, he got up, wandered around a little, and died. I buried him. Cost to me = $0.
