I'm assuming the people of NYS were deprived of their "rightful" state income taxes, because Trump "should" have paid higher interest rates on loans?

What I can't figure out about that logic is, if Trump paid LESS interest, then he must have made MOAR profit, meaning, MOAR state income taxes paid by Trump.

Well, let's look at it the other way. Trump should have paid more interest to the banks, and thus the banks made less money then they should have, and thus, underpaid income taxes. Have I got this theory right?

Assuming Trump "should have" paid higher interest rates, then isn't this a push? Even under homegirl Letitia's theory of "the crime," I can't see how the taxpayers of NYS were adversely effected.

Prosecution also admitted weeks ago that there "was no victim of his fraud", but continued on anyway because they said that although no criminal charges could be filed without a victim, a civil case could still be pursued under NY law.

I'm not a lawyer, so I don't have any expertise here. But I have been to civil court numerous times, and it is all about compensating those who were "wronged" by someone else's non-criminal wrongdoing. I have yet to see to whom Trump is to pay these hundreds of millions of dollars for him having wronged them.

Also without a legal background, I'm wondering why the judge can prevent Trump from doing business in NYS for 3 years when he has apparently not committed any crimes.

This is the kind of shit you get when you elect a DA on a "Get Trump" ticket. Stalin and Beria are smiling wherever they are.
