For the record, I am completely disgusted by what she did.
Never been a fan but what I find strange is that her movie and personal career never suffered from it at all.

If this was done by someone in the past 30 years or so, they really would never work in that town again.

Her dad Henry Fonda didn't speak to her for 10 years after that since his best friend Jimmy Stewart lost his step son in Vietnam. They reconciled on his last picture before he died.

Try the state's rights argument. Why should the federal government make laws that certain states oppose?

Supposed that the federals outlawed abortion? What would Californians think about that?
