The auto braking on the Ram, i had to disable it cause it wouldnt let me back out of the driveway or drive through my work parking garage without locking the truck up for no reason at all. This feature worked great in the Denali until the windshield got chipped.

Running everything though through the radio is fine for me, until the radio starts glitching, which the 12” radio in the Ram ewll do so every once in a while.

I like cooled seats, and heated seats, but why cant i blow hot air just like i can blow cold air up my ass?

My wife has it on her Jeep. I drove it about six hours to a vacation spot last summer and it pissed off my passengers more than me.

They kept complaining about bouncing between the lines and once I knew it bothered them, I doubled down.

On my wife's 2019 Lexus GX 460 when the SUV is started a safety message appears on the info screen before any music plays.

Well, I like the full screen warning that comes up at various times saying you should not take your eyes off the road while driving but.......you have to look at it and touch the dismiss section to get rid of it ! TAKING YOUR EYES OFF THE ROAD !!!!!!!!

I'll vote for the lane assist too. My wire's 2019 Honda Pilot hates me no matter how low I set the sensitivity.

On a maintenance note, why do they make it so hard to change oil in a car? And why do you put an oil filter on its side so when you unloosen it the oil runs down the side of the engine? My '08 ES350 Lexus is the best, bottom oil filter with no drips on the engine. My '98 C5 was the same.

What year is your RAM? The head unit is known for delaminating and it ****s everything up as far as radio, GPS, AC, and heating goes. I'm glad I bought the extended warranty when I bought my truck so a $600 head unit only cost me a $50 deductible.

I bow to our electronic overlords. I look forward to future developments: Control of our speed, fuel consumption or battery life, monitoring our movements and conversations. Maybe we can even look forward to having our audio systems provide our dictated values to align with the top progressive thinkers. Guidance systems might even be able to direct us to the retailers and merchants of those who sponsor these systems. Oh, what a world it will be!

Yep, the damn auto shutoff is on my 2021 Honda CR-V. It pisses me off every time I forget to disable it. It is the shittiest feature I've come across since the C6 skip shift (which I disabled). It was a little hairy when I couldn't hit 2nd while passing a car in the Vette.

And if you enjoy those items, wait until the Intoxalock breathalyzers are built in.

My Cruze has that, too, but there's no way to shut it off. Best you can do is feather the brake and try not to engage it while stopped. As you stated, I'll never save enough money on fuel from this bullshit to pay for a new starter, and the excess wear and tear on the engine from starting and stopping constantly in traffic means the engine will fail earlier.

This just bolsters my theory that more options on a car is just more shit that will break. I bought an econobox, in part, to avoid all that, and of course, during the rare times it's cold in H-Town, what fails? Heated seat.

I've replaced the factory radio in my 2500 twice now, both with used radios, the first time being cheap, the second time because OEM replacements were not available. I would have thrown in aftermarket, but no matter how much extra you spend on add on do-dads to keep the factory features, you still lose some with an aftermarket radio.

I have to use the voice feature which doesn't exactly work so well. I can understand that it doesn't work well with strong acccents, but damn, mine isn't that bad. Not like I'm speaking Cajoon like our resident swamp person does.

What year? From what i read it tends to be a problem mostly in the hotter places.

I have had 4 Vettes and 1 Camaro 6spds with that thing and if your hitting the throttle good it will not engage. If your passing a car you should be hitting it hard enough not to engage.

Your driving a Vette like it ought to be driven you will not have that problem!
