'Zup peeps? Looks like my family is experiencing best case scenario considering where the storm was 24 hours ago. I only had 1 argument with the wife so far. She was insisting I save room in the garage for our patio furniture and park the C7 in a nearby parking garage where her vehicle and the kid's cars are riding out the storm. There was no way I was going to put my vehicle in harm's way to keep less than $5000 worth of patio shit dry, especially since the shift in the storm track means the winds are from the north, and my patio is protected from the wind.

Plenty of room on top of that vette for lawn furniture storage....









And remember.. It's not that the wind is blowing it's what of your neighbors shit is blowing around.

Stay safe watch out for trash cans and trampolines.

I didn't board up the back of the house leading out to the patio, but I have the boards out there if the situation changes. The neighbor behind me left a trampoline out, but the will blow it the opposite direction.

Made it home on one of the last flights anywhere into Florida. Our house is ~30 ft above sea level so 4-6 ft storm surge isn’t a worry. We have food, water and gas for the generator. Everything put away or fastened down. Supposed to be nice and sunny here by Saturday. I have lots of cigars and Scotch, Kathy has Tequila, so we’re good.
