My dad was a Marine Sergeant, a Korean War veteran, and Purple Heart recipient.

He always wore a button up shirt and often a sport jacket.

Never a t-shirt or sneakers, as it reminded him of the gooks that tried to kill him.

My father and godfather were retired WWII and Korean war veteran Marines. I play golf with three retired Marines, two of them were recon Marines in Vietnam.

None of them ever dressed as "Rambo". They don't need to show off because they have proven to themselves and others Marines they are the best.
