Here's what chaps my ass: I don't give shit what anyone drives. And unless we're having a discussion about cars, I don't even ask because I don't really care. But there have been a few times where someone will ask me what kind of car I drive and when I tell them, I immediately hear "OOOHHHH Mercedes!!! MUST be NICE" as though my choice in car had something to do with their station in life. More than once I've responded by saying "As a matter of fact, it IS nice. What exactly would you have me do? Drive around in a 10-year old clapped out KIA Sorento so that you can feel better about yourself? Not gonna happen."

Then of course begins the "oh no I didn't mean it that way" backpedaling bullshit. Uhh...yeah you did mean it that way and maybe what you ought to do is talk less and think more. Elon Musk can afford to shoot off his mouth.
