Falling construction worker saved by bubble wrap
Man falls 30 feet from Boston building Published 2:05 PM EST Feb 04, 2013 Bubble wrap saves falling construction worker BOSTON —A construction worker was saved from serious injury or worse Monday morning when he fell 30 feet off a building, but landed on bubble wrap, a spokesman for the Boston Fire Department said. The 38-year-old worker fell from the building at 1959 Commonwealth Ave., which is under construction with scaffolding wrapped in bubble wrap. The worker fell into a pile of the wrap on the ground. Boston firefighters said the man was stuck and needed to be cut from the bubble wrap. The man, who was not identified, suffered back and shoulder injuries and required hospital treatment. |

Wonder if the water content in his body caused him to bounce when he hit? I know a cop who watched a man jump from a high-rise building once and he said dude bounced like a basketball on impact, THEN splattered when he hit the ground after rebounding on the sidewalk.

Several witnesses reported similarly eerie accounts of the WTC jumpers on 9/11, too. They were coming from approx. 1,362 ft. so the phyics/gravitational forces involved had to be incredible.
