I don't know about that brand but we have 2 sizes of Duracell Durabeam Ultra and they are a lot brighter than a standard flash lights. We bought them at Costco.

Don't know about that brand but that test isn't too different that what I've seen from my Fenix PD32 UE.

Pro Tip: If you get out of bed to check what went bump in the dark, DO NOT switch on good tactical light set on its brightest setting and pointed at a white wall. It's like what I'd imagine a flash bang looks like going off. I did this and was blind for about 7 or 8 long seconds before I could see again.

I bought a couple of LED bulbs to fit my Maglights, I only have a couple of two cell lights, I do note the bulbs is supposed to fit from 2-4?6? cell Maglights....so I can only imagine how much brighter that would be.....but it's really noticeable as is in my 2 cell lights....

If you want a BRIGHT flashlight, get one of these. It'll throw a beam for a quarter mile. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for:

LED tech has gone through the roof.
I check the Lumens count (total light), and then the lens.
A 1000 count Lumens focused beam is a pretty nifty flashlight beam.
But the same Lumens count in a wide angle lens will spread the light out, just not as intense.

Also, there's tactical and now the current trend, tacticool for many items. Be careful of which you get.

I got one from amazon for about 8 bucks and then splurged on a 15 dollar one. As far as being tactical gear, I offer this

They both did well at that. the 15 dollar one is amazing to me.

PRO TIP:

When checking a dark room and you want to illuminate it point the beam to the ceiling not in front or to the sides and you will illuminate the whole room...

I'll stick with my Maglite & an LED bulb. If all else fails I can still beat someone to death with it. That's tactical.
