If by "this place" you mean VBOT...

We don't lock threads down because the subject matter is unacceptable to some folks. That makes us as bad as CFOT.

I think that one of the things people like about this place is that they're free...for the most part...to speak their minds without fear of threads being locked or them being punished.

What I've noticed is that the ppl that stay on CFOT seem to think that VB is an exclusive club, and that the mods over on CF allow posting any distaste for VB. The mods never let a mention of BCF slide by.

I just read the entire thread (except for those that got excised of course). I've seen second-graders who missed their nap and snack behave better and have more logical arguments. The posts have nothing to do with the subject of the thread; it's just a clique-war. It makes me want to kick my sorry ass for putting up with their damned infantile, change-by-the-minute-rules-depending-on-who-you-are, ball-less, gutless, gay little community for a long as I did.

And something I've observed over time is that those who complain about "cliques" were usually unpopular in high school and still, however many years later, have trouble fitting in, so they blame it on "cliques."
