Update

We have reached our goal, and are over it some now, so we can end up doing more than we originally planned for... (I think)

We have $1483 now in the Kids Christmas fund!..



I'm thinking that after the shopping is all done and we see what is left over, maybe we do some games and contest for them that have prizes for the winners.

Things to make it a fun day for them.. Maybe a singing contest for the kids.

And a dance contest, and pay small cash prizes for the top 3 maybe, or a sack of rice to the winners?

(I will make a thread later for suggestions & ideas)

Hopefully Rob has a video camera he can bring so we can get some vid's to post up for all of you here, along with lots of photos.

No matter what happens.. this is going to be a Christmas day that these children will never forget.

I have a camera that can do video and pics.

As for the amount. $1500 is amazing. I cannot thank you all enough for helping these kids. Maybe we can make this an annual event if Tim is willing to help out, I know this is a lot of work for him.

Tim - when I get there, a nice bottle of rhum is on me. And I will smuggle you some Mac and cheese packets too.

Did I read correctly that there are no (or nominal) fees if money is sent as a friends/family transaction? I'll shoot some funds over, but not sure which way is best. I can do PP or CC, whichever gets more money to the kids.

(Sorry, I'm too tired this morn to go back and read.)

If it is not for a purchase and sending as a personal loan or something like that, there are no fees.
