I found Marcus another $300. We just had our annual meeting tonight and the club President said that if Marcus was going to be regular, and wanted to continue to work with the club members like he did last weekend, he would wave the Saturday/Sunday Fees. This equates to $50/weekend, or $300. I told him I would front that $300 and he could pay me the $50/event when they happen.

That means we're only $100 away. Someone step up.

I never once thought this would be a free ride at any point. I will contribute my share of course. But I will do the barn proud and run the car and get as close to beating you as possible

I will make every effort to make you great. By you being a member, you will be permitted to take your runs whenever you like, and take as many runs as you like on Saturdays without having to work the course.

Club members still work a TON more, than those that work on the course, as you saw last weekend, but, the benefits FAR outweigh the cost.

It also makes it easier for us to run on Sunday with 2 drivers. You're not tied to a particular work group "per se". You still have to work a shift, like I did in the timing trailer, but in the other shifts, you can almost run at will.

Wow! I am impressed by generosity of the Barn members, and to Craig for letting the kid behind the wheel. Marcus has on many occasions made his Mom and I very proud, I am sure that he will not let you down. Thanks to all of you that contributed. Now I guess I need to buy him a helmet for his b-day!
