I posted this in the bar thread and then thought everyone should be aware of this, it's pretty scary stuff........

Yes, they said that's one way to shut them down, or remove the GPS chip.

Just think of this. Somebody comes over to your house and takes pics of your classic car collection. He has just pinpointed to all the car thieves where your cars are located, and the time you are there! Next they stake out your place, get your times coming and going, and one day, bye bye cars!

Just about any smartphone logs your pics by lat and long. I imagine by now some nicer digital cameras have GPS enabled as well.
