He would have been pissed...

Back around 1991 or so I went to an appearance he did locally to get an autograph. They pulled up to the Chevy dealership and as he is getting out of the Lincoln Town Car, an employee asked if he could do anything for him.

"Yeah, get me out of this damn Ford" was his only reply.

He came to my dad's dealership in 1991 for an autograph session for Wish Upon A Star. In the stipulations sheet, it specifically said not to pick him up from the airport in a Ford.

Hey listen guys, the price is totally worth it. The Verizon, Cheerios, Miller Lite, Kotex, Sony, O'Reilly Autoparts, Starbucks, Doritos, Cannon, Trojan, Sears, Duke's Mayo, Wonderbread, Sargento, Totinos Lincoln Town Car Hearse rode real good on the way to the graveyard. She was nice and tight in the corners and accelerated real fast in the straighaways.
