I did this too for my daughter's fiance, who was in the military. Gave it to him on his birthday. Both my son and I have a fair bit of flag folding experience from his military school and being Scouts. We didn't get it PERFECT, but awful darned close to the point you have to look closely to see it off a TINY bit.

Again, contacting the customer is the best course of action and recommend they fold themselves unless presented in that way. It shows your attention to detail and 'doing it right', even if it isn't changed.
