After the trauma both the rioters and the state have inflicted on Kyle, Kyle deserves to collect some big ass judgements against the news media that slandered him, as well as from the politically motivated prosecutors who are persecuting a clearly innocent kid.

They have plenty of alternates, so they just brought one of them off the bench to replace the struck juror. I think they recruited more alternates than usual, because of the notoriety of the case.

To compare and contrast, I was the jury foreman on a DWI case decades ago. There were 6 of us, no alternates. Other than the kid we found innocent, nobody really gave a shit about the case. Kyle's case, however, half the country wants to murder him, the other half wants to give him a medal. It's different, and much more scrutinized.

All I can think of is they're going for, "well, Kyle shouldn't have been there in the first place, shouldn't have had that gun, and he broke curfew, so Kyle's guilty because if he hadn't been there, he wouldn't have had to shoot those people who all attacked him first.: That's the ONLY message I'm getting.

The persecutor's best job was getting Kyle's friend to admit to the straw purchase of the rifle, but even then, he kept asking about it. No, it never left the friend's safe, it never crossed state lines, Kyle apparently only trained with it once, etc.

If Kyle walks, I'm sure Merrick Garland will be Johnny on the spot with federal gun charges on Kyle for that.

That's probably a good thing, as women are more likely to simply follow instructions, and not as likely to judge the entirety of the circumstances and make a determination based on what is right and fair.

Why the hell was she seated to begin with then I ask.... We had a lady said unless you have comfortable chairs i won't make it 4 hrs. She had been sitting on wood bench for 2 hrs when she asked. Then she asked about chairs in jury room, she wasn't taking any chances she said.
