Interesting way to build and monitize a Youtube channel

Kudos to the content creator for what he does.

He randomly knocks on homeowner's doors who's yards are in disarray and offers to mow and weed whack for free. He's doing a public service, and yet he can translate it into a fairly well subscribed channel.

For the negatives, this guy has a LOT to learn from Mark Rober or some of the other Youtube standouts. First issue being his video is 45 minutes long. Nobody on the planet is going to watch that much video of you mowing a lawn. Hit the highlights bro, have a catchy intro, and then get it done in 12 minutes max. The before and after comparisons are impactful, but WAY overdone. I don't need to look at that fence 4-5 times before/after.

Regardless, I posted this because of the kind hearted nature of the service they provide, and the fact that you can do these things and find a way to make money doing it at the same time.

Before/After reveal starts at 40:00, so watch what you want and then fast forward.

5-10 min: decent chance of me watching it.

1-5 min: very good chance of me watching it.

Nice, but what shit people to let their lawn get like that in the first place. I could understand someone elderly, living alone, fixed income, no family ending up like that, but here's a guy with a nice house and a Lincoln in the driveway

Supposedly he has a heart condition and can't manage it in the summer due to heat and humidity, but catches up in the winter.

If it were me, I'd do the intro to the person whose yard it is, start the mower, and the entire job would be in time lapse of maybe 2 minutes, then a nice outro/thank you.

Start to finish 4 minutes tops. As an example, I really like a similar video of the World Trade Center (new) going up.
