THAT pix of the rear spring, with the mystery bar mounted directly under the springs/axle.....going forward? rear? What purpose does it serve???

You mean the traction bar? Prevents spring wrap basically. A different/newer take on ladder bars that work better.

I would never own that.... would be too scared to get any dirt and road grime on it and have nightmares about how much time it would take to detail it topside, bottom side, and inside

Yeh, my car is FAR from perfection as you know, and so it stays.......I don't have the skeleton for it any more.....




BTW, met up with Ricky Smitty Exhaust shop, MAN have the last 5-6 years since they moved been ROUGH on him......damn shame.....we did enjoy talking a bit though....someone else did the pipe welding though.....

We haven't talked to him in years since he ****ed us over on a deal. It was probably his BIL doing the welding. Where is his shop now? Still in 'burg?
