I haven't lived there for 30+ years but have been to most of the OU home games during that time. It's about time to move back to escape the entitlelista infestation in Texas. Oklahoma has less of that than most places I've been and I doubt it turns purple or blue in my lifetime.

I agree, the people are great. I just don't go for the flat plains and don't even get me started on the wind, THAT BLOWS EVERY FREAKING DAY.
I've lived all over the country from Phoenix to Illinois. I grew up on the coast. I'm a beach baby. Being stuck in the middle of a continent give me the willies.

You are RIGHT!!! That wind! I sometimes forget. Until I visit. It's not as windy or flat as you go east. Oh, and a tornado shelter isn't a bad investment there either.
