Default Garage currently at 71 degrees while it's 92 degrees outside in the Florida summer
Major thanks to Simpleman68 for helping me install a new steel exterior door and this 220 30 amp 18,000 BTU A/C unit in my garage yesterday. I just finished putting foam backer rods to seal the opening, and put finishing trim around it to dress it up. Still need to paint inside and out, but coupled with the new insulated garage doors, and a very well installed unit, the garage can get to a very nice temperature pretty quickly. It was 68 degrees in there when I woke up. I let it run all night.

I bought this A/C unit during Hurricane Irma, so it's only ever been used for 1 week, and has been stored indoors ever since. So glad to have finally accomplished this.

Bring on the engine swap!!!

I never saw one in a door before, so that is unique to me.

Any place I've rented got a ac unit in the door(new door i put in) for garage.
Nothing like cold concrete to lay on during summer if working on the rides, plus my dogs always loved the cold floor.

It's EXTREMELY secure. The support braces only suggested 1, and we used 2. Each can support 160 lbs.
